A licensed skin care therapist, herbalist, brow specialist, and sugarista, Jacquie is the founder of Cactus jacq. She specializes in sugar hair removal, holistic skin care, brow restoration, and wellness. After spending several years training in the wellness field working in health food stores, spas, a local spiritual shop, and managing a nature park and community garden, Jacquie has taken all of this training and experience to create a unique and holistic approach in all of her services.
Jacquie creates a healing environment to nurture all who enter her treatment room. Her individual approach incorporates a variety of techniques to suit your individual needs for that moment. She looks at the whole picture and believes this is the most effective way to approach skin care and that treating things topically is only the beginning. The four pillars of health are very important to her as this is the foundation to lasting inner and outer beauty. All of the products used for her services are purposeful, organic, and safe for the delicate integumentary system and with this foundation along with a deep understanding of wellness she creates a truly healing and customized experience for everyone.
Her training never stops, Jacquie has a passion for anatomy and understanding how everything is connected. She spends most of her time studying herbalism, spirituality, gardening, taking walks in the woods, stopping to smell the flowers, seeing the connection in all things, and perfecting her crafts so that she may be of service to her community in a very meaningful way.
